Nail extension using tissue technology

[ad_1]

Fabric technology is not only one of the ways to get a beautiful manicure, but can also serve as a «savior» in case of breakage or cracked nails.

Unfortunately, in Ukraine, tissue nail extension technology is not popular. However, in the world, specialists and customers have long appreciated this service. After all, in addition to the fact that building with silk or linen can save you from a long and laborious period of growing nails, this procedure is also an excellent way to save a single cracked or damaged nail.

What it is?

Fabric technology allows you to build up with silk, linen or fiberglass (a fabric that looks like silk and is made on the basis of fiberglass) nails of any length and shape. The essence of the method is that a tips (artificial nail) is glued to your nail, on which a layer of tissue is applied.

To date, this technology, as an independent method of building, is rarely used among specialists. Much more popular procedures are gel, acrylic or glue-powder nail extensions. However, despite this, tissue technology is very popular as an «ambulance» for nails — with the help of a small piece of tissue, you can repair any nail, «glue» a crack or trim the relief of the nail plate.

The most popular material used in fabric extensions is silk. After all, it is not only thin and delicate, but also silk extension allows you to make the nail strong and elastic. The only drawback of this procedure is that the fabric lies on a solid base, which means that you cannot do without the use of tips (or basic gel extension on the form). The advantage of this procedure, in turn, is the variety of shades and types of fabric, thanks to which silk extensions can allow you to lay any pattern and avoid regular use of the coating.

Nail extension procedure using tissue technology

The tissue technology nail extension procedure is usually carried out in four stages. The total time that the procedure takes is about two and a half hours (including coverage).

Stage 1.

At the first stage, the master prepares the nails for the procedure. To do this, you need to carefully move the cuticle away from the nail, cut the length, and correct the shape of the nail plate. You should also qualitatively degrease the nail for better adhesion to the tips. This is usually done by grinding the surface of the nail and rubbing it with a special solution.

Stage 2.

The second stage of building on tissue technology involves fixing the tips on the nail, as well as giving it the necessary shape and length. Tips are planted on a special glue.

In this case, the master lays out the gel, fixes the layer under ultraviolet irradiation and gives the hardened material the necessary shape (read more about the stages of the procedure in the article “Gel nail extension”). It should be noted that the gel serves exclusively as a base for further extensions with silk, linen or other fabrics, therefore it does not need perfect processing or polishing.

Stage 3.

At the third stage, the master attaches a piece of fabric, which is prepared in advance, to the surface of the base. The fabric is also planted on a special glue and fixed with an activator. Usually, the master completely wets the fabric with the agent, until completely wet, to create a “transparent” effect.

Stage 4.

The fourth stage of building on fabric technology involves the correction of minor flaws, filing the shape and polishing. After the nail is completely put in order, a coating or painting is applied to the surface.

Advantages procedures

The fabric technology has a number of advantages, which makes it possible to use it as an independent method of nail extension. The main ones include:

  • «Fabric» nails are quite elastic and impact resistant
  • It is not difficult to repair a damaged nail — another layer of tissue is simply fixed to the crack
  • The procedure can be carried out with the help of different fabrics — extensions with silk, linen, fiberglass — depending on the wishes of the client
  • Due to the different textures and colors of fabrics, you can achieve a variety of nail patterns, which eliminates the constant use of the coating
  • Tissue build-up is the most hypoallergenic and practically does not cause irritation

Flaws procedures

Unfortunately, tissue nail technology, like any procedure, has its drawbacks. The main ones are:

  • With poor-quality extensions, the fabric along the edges may begin to move away from the base, which will cause frequent corrections.
  • Fabric nails are not among the strongest and most durable
  • Tissue extension is impossible without the use of a solid base (tips, gel)
  • If the pattern was not initially laid in the nail, then it has an unnatural milky shade

After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of this procedure, we hope you will easily make your choice!

Let your nails be beautiful!
