Natural masks for oily skin. Part 1

Natural ingredients will not only help neutralize oily sheen, but also gradually “regulate” the work of the sebaceous glands, reducing the amount of oil on your skin.

Did you know that when washing off a mask for oily skin, it is better to use not plain water, but slightly acidified water (just add a couple of drops of lemon juice or apple / grape vinegar). This procedure will additionally gently dry the skin, and with regular use it will correct the secretion of sebum.

Masks based on fruits and berries for oily skin

Raspberry mask

Step 1. Rub a handful (about 10 grams) of raspberries through a sieve and pass the gruel through a sieve to remove the seeds.

Step 2. Add 1 tablespoon of rye flour to the resulting mass. Mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps.

Step 3. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Hold for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse with warm acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin becomes velvety and tender, acquires a healthy appearance, and fat metabolism of surface tissues is normalized.

Apricot mask

Step 1. Peel and pit two or three medium apricots. Mash the flesh with a wooden spatula until pureed.

Step 2. Add 1 teaspoon of low-fat kefir to the resulting mass (fat content should not exceed 2.5%). Stir.

Step 3. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Keep it for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse with warm acidified water.

Result: Oily skin of the face becomes velvety and tender, becomes oily more slowly, minor inflammation disappears.

apple mask

Step 1. Peel a medium-sized apple (preferably sour), remove the core and grate on a fine grater.

Step 2. Sprinkle the resulting mass with lemon juice and add 1 teaspoon of curdled milk (preferably home-made). Stir.

Step 3. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Hold for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse with warm acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin becomes soft and matte, whitened, the work of the sebaceous glands is regulated, acne is dried in the initial stage.

Plum mask

Step 1. Peel 1-2 medium plums from the skin, remove the stones and mash the pulp with a wooden spatula to a puree state.

Step 2. Add 1 teaspoon of oatmeal to the resulting mass and mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps.

Step 3. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Keep it for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse with warm acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin becomes matte and velvety, minimal peeling is carried out, the work of the sebaceous glands is regulated, acne is dried in the initial stage.

Compresses from berries

Also, to regulate the secretions of the sebaceous glands and eliminate shine, make compresses from the following berries:

  • Cherry
  • Cranberry
  • Kalina
  • Red currants
  • Strawberry

To prepare a compress, wipe the berries through a sieve (try to use one type of berries in one compress to avoid allergic reactions). Put the gruel on gauze and apply to the skin of the face and neck. On average, the procedure lasts 15-20 minutes.

Vegetable-based face masks for oily skin

Cucumber-rice mask

Step 1. Grate a medium-sized cucumber on a fine grater.

Step 2. Grind 1 tablespoon of rice in a coffee grinder to a state of flour. Mix rice flour and cucumber mass.

Step 3. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Keep it on for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with cool acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin becomes matte, brightened, inflammation is dried.

Carrot mask

Step 1. Grate a small carrot on a fine grater and sprinkle with lemon juice.

Step 2. Grind 1 teaspoon of rice in a coffee grinder to a state of flour. Mix rice flour with 1 teaspoon of olive oil (preferably unrefined).

Step 3. Mix the carrot mass and rice butter. Mix thoroughly.

Step 4. Apply the mask on the face and neck. Keep for 20 minutes, and then rinse with warm acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin becomes matte, refreshed, inflammation and acne are dried in the initial stage.

horseradish mask

Step 1. Grate horseradish on a fine grater. Let the juice run.

Step 2. In the resulting mass, add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of low-fat sour cream. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Keep it on for 10-15 minutes and then wash off with cool acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin is refreshed, sebaceous secretions are regulated, skin metabolism is normalized.

Masks based on sour-milk and dairy products for oily skin

Kefir mask with green tea

Step 1. Pour 1 tablespoon of green tea with a little hot water (80-90 degrees) and infuse for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2. In warm tea (without removing the leaves), add 1 tablespoon of kefir. Stir. If the mask turned out to be liquid, add starch for density.

Step 3. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Keep it on for 10-15 minutes and then wash off with cool acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin becomes soft and uniform, refreshed, toned.

Curd mask with parsley

Step 1. Chop parsley (medium bunch). Mash in a mortar until juice appears.

Step 2. In the resulting mass, add 1 tablespoon of low-fat kefir (fat content should not exceed 2.5%) and 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Step 3. Add 1 teaspoon of oatmeal. Stir.

Step 4. Apply the mask on the face and neck. Keep it for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse with warm acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin becomes moisturized, fresh, metabolic processes are activated, inflammation calms down.

Cottage cheese-cranberry mask

Step 1. Beat 1 protein and mix it with 1 tablespoon of low-fat cottage cheese until smooth.

Step 2. In the resulting mass, add 1 tablespoon of cranberry juice (exclusively freshly squeezed). Stir.

Step 3. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Keep it for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse with warm acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin becomes fresh, toned, inflammation and acne are dried in the initial stage.

Egg masks for oily skin

Protein-grapefruit mask

Step 1. Mash 1-2 grapefruit slices with a wooden spatula, having previously cleared the films.

Step 2. Add beaten egg white to the resulting gruel. stir

Step 3. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Hold for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse with warm acidified water.

Result: Oily skin of the face becomes fresh, soft, uniform, the level of fat content is normalized.

Protein-tomato mask

Step 1. Peel a small tomato from the skin and rub through a sieve. Pass through cheesecloth to remove seeds.

Step 2. Add whipped protein and a pinch of salt (extra) to the resulting mass. Stir, but don’t let the salt melt.

Step 3. Apply the mask on the face and neck in a thick layer. Keep it for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse with warm acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin becomes soft, acquires a beautiful natural color, inflammation is dried.

Protein Cherry Mask

Step 1. Mash a few cherries (about 50-70 grams) with a spatula until gruel, after removing the seeds.

Step 2. In the resulting mass, add whipped protein and 1 teaspoon of starch. Stir.

Step 3. Apply the mask on the face and neck in a thick layer. Keep it on for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with cool acidified water.

Result: Oily facial skin dries and tones, acquires a healthy look.
